Why should I get my water tested?

Everyone decides to get their water tested for different reasons.  For some, they are worried about lead, copper, PH, or other contaminants which might be present while others are  more concerned about why they are getting dry skin, why their water smells, or why they are getting staining and what to do about it. 

What could be wrong with my water?

Water can be complicated! Many factors go in to why our water is the way it is.  Depending on if it is city or well water, how deep the well is and the distance we are from the water plant as well as the condition of our pipes in our home.  Your water can contain things that result in staining like Iron or Maganese, stuff that results in buildup like Calcium and Magnesium, or difficult on your skin like Chlorine. The good news is better water is possible with simple solutions!

What if something is found in my water?

Fear not! Simple solutions will be provided depending on what is found.  We have not come across an issue that does not have a solution! Our water analyst will provide lots of information for you!

Is the City responsible?

Not necessarily. The city has a complicated job and does the best they can do with the budget they have and do an excellent job at providing water which is safe to drink! Of course, there is always room for improvement, but it would be impossible for them to delivery water perfect water.

How long is a water test?

Water testing should take no longer than 45 minutes depending on questions you might have.  Testing will take place at your kitchen sink and will require your assistance.   It is highly requested that all home owners are present to avoid a second trip, answer all the questions, and in case something comes up pulls your attention away someone is still available.

Are they trying to sell me something?

Our water analyst are focused on providing water testing and information about your water.   If any issues are discovered they will not leave you hanging, and will have some simple solutions for you.   Some of these solutions may not be free, but of course that’s for you to decide what to do with the information provided.

What do they test for?

Our water analyst will provide over 20 different tests covering a wide range of the most common issues.   For any additional issues we have a full service lab available.
